Wondering if your land is perfect for a campsite?
Here's a quick checklist to help you figure it out:
-
At CCC we have no min size for land.
-
Is it fairly level?
-
Do you have safe access with a clear view on both sides of your entry and exit points, suitable for all types of vehicles, and ideally with passing places for single-track lanes?
If you tick all these boxes, your land might just be the ideal spot for camping!
Facilities you’ll need on your campsite
Here's what you'll need to ensure your campers have a comfortable stay:
-
A fresh drinking water tap -Or some way to provide water
-
A sealed chemical disposal tank if you are going for the motorhome/ caravan exemption
-
Dry waste disposal
-
Toilets - if you go with the camping option. These can be off-grid without planning permission.
Starting with these basics sets a solid foundation for your campsite. Later, you can consider adding more facilities like outside kitchen areas to enhance the camping experience.
